A necklace is the piece most people reach for when a gift has to say something specific. In this collection every pendant is engraved to order: a first name, a date in numerals, a short line, or a set of coordinates for the place you first met. Choose the metal first, then the chain length, then type the engraving exactly as you want it to read.
Metals: sterling silver pieces are solid 925 silver; gold pieces are 18K gold plated over a brass or silver base; stainless steel pieces are hypoallergenic and the most scratch-resistant of the three. Plated pieces keep their colour longest when they are kept away from perfume, pool water and sweat and stored in the pouch they arrive in.
Chain lengths run from 16 inches (sits at the collarbone) to 22 inches (sits a hand below it). If you are buying for someone else and do not know their usual length, 18 inches is the length most people wear; our Size Guide explains how to measure a chain they already own.
Engraving is laser-cut, not stamped, so fine serifs and small numerals stay legible. Front and back can carry different text on bar pendants. Before you order, check the character limit shown on the product page; it is set by the pendant size, not by us.
Every necklace ships in a kraft gift box with a polishing cloth, within 1 to 3 business days, with free tracked delivery to the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. If the length or metal is not right when it arrives, you can exchange or return it within 60 days and we pay the return postage.
