An engraved ring is the most personal piece we make and the one that most needs the right size. This collection includes plain bands engraved on the inside, flat-top signet-style rings engraved on the face, and slim stacking rings for a single word or date.
\nRing size is a US size and is set when you order; because the engraving is cut after the size is chosen, a ring cannot be resized afterwards without losing part of the text. Please read the Size Guide before you choose: it explains how to measure a ring the person already wears, why you should measure in the evening, and what to do if you are between two sizes. If the size is wrong when it arrives, you can exchange it within 60 days and we pay the return postage.
\nMetals: sterling silver and stainless steel rings are solid; gold rings are 18K gold plated over a base metal. For daily wear, stainless steel keeps its finish longest. Widths are listed on each product page in millimetres.
\nInside engravings are the classic choice for anniversary and wedding rings: a date, two initials, or a few words. Outside engravings suit signet rings and wider bands. Character limits depend on the ring size, since a smaller ring has less room; the product page states the limit for each size.
